sculptures

In my sculpture work, I love creating characters in their own make-believe worlds, addressing the ideas of self sustainability and self protection, and questioning what’s feminine and what’s masculine all while walking the line between high art and kitsch. My materials are inspired by my family’s Mardi Gras float making studio, carnival and New Orleans. I use foam, plastic, papier-mâché, fabric, feathers, clay and fiberglass.
